Shchepkin Drama Theatre Belgorod, Russia Romeo and Juliet William Shakespeare Mikhail Mokeev Director Mikhail Mokeev, a graduate of Kharkov University, abandoned his nuclear physics soon after graduation and joined Oleg Yefremov's class at the Moscow Art Theatre School. Mokeev is the founder of the Ulysses theatre and he has directed over twenty productions at various Moscow theatres. He has also worked in Austria, England, Ireland and the USA (where, among other plays, he directed The Cherry Orchard with Suzanne York and Kenneth Haig).
